Bethany always dreamed about the day that maternity clothes, diaper bags and tiny shoes would be a part of her everyday life. In January 2004, her dream became a reality when she and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into their lives. Bethany's love and commitment for motherhood, as well as fashion, grew into a baby product buying frenzy. With over 50 pair of shoes and more clothes than her son could possibly wear, she realized she had found a passion. Two years later, with the birth of her daughter, Bethany decided to turn her passion into a fun and unique business where she could share her love of all things baby with others.
Here at The Polkadot Platypus, Bethany has chosen a collection of products that are not only practical, but fun and unique. Her passion for motherhood has shown through in her business ... both are true labors of love. Bethany spends countless hours searching for the most stylish, unique and fun baby and maternity products available. She is excited to offer these products to her customers and hopes that her dedication shines through.
A portion of the proceeds at The Polkadot Platypus are donated to organizations that benefit Down syndrome awareness, research and education. This cause is very close to Bethany's heart, as her daughter has Down syndrome.
